Biography
YUEI-AN LIOU received the B.S. degree in electrical engineering from National Sun Yat-Sen University, Taiwan, M.S.E. degree in electrical engineering (EE), M.S. degree in atmospheric and space sciences, and double Ph.D. degree in EE and atmospheric, oceanic, and space sciences from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, USA. He is currently President of Taiwan GIS Center, President of Taiwan Group on Earth Observations, and Distinguished Professor at Center for Space and Remote Sensing Research, National Central University.
Research Interest
His current interests include GPS meteorology and ionosphere, remote sensing of the atmosphere, land surface, and polar ice, and land surface processes modeling. He is Foreign Member, Russian Academy of Engineering Sciences and Member, International Academy of Astronautics. He serves as editor of several prestigious journals and published more than 100 referral papers with H-Index 28.
