Biography
I received my Ph.D. degree in atmospheric science from the Chinese Academy of Sciences (1993), and was a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Washington, Seattle (1997-99) and the Canadian Centre for Climate Modelling and Analysis (2000-03). I have been a Research Scientist at the Climate Research Division of Environment Canada since 2004. My research interests involve climate variability and climate change, climate sensitivity and feedback, atmospheric circulation and teleconnection, and tropical meteorology. My research contributes to understanding of climate processes, climate variability, and climate change.
