Biography

Zuxin Xu is a professor in College of Environmental Science and Engineering at Tongji University, China and also Vice chairman of Science and Technology Commission of Shanghai Municipal People’s Government. She has completed her Ph.D in the field of Hydrodynamics and river dynamics from Hohai University, China. Her main research interests are integrated catchment management and rehabilitation, urban drainage pollution control, ecological wastewater treatment, hydrodynamics and water quality modelling. She was the director of Shanghai Environmental Protection Bureau from 2003 to 2007. She has published more than 200 papers in peer-reviewed journals and international conferences.
