Biography
LIU Gaohuan was graduated from Wuhan University in 1983 majored in photogrammetry and remote sensing. He got his full time professor in 1997 in the Institute of Geography of Chinese Academy of Sciences. He is the director of the Department of GIS, National Remote Sensing Center of China (2007-) and vice board chairman of China Society of Environment, Resources and Ecological Protection (2014-) . He has published more than 50 papers in reputed journals and 12 books. He has been studying ecological monitoring and assessment in the coastal and delta regions.
